TILE GAME
An Adaptive System for Sport and Entertainment
We are developing an adaptive system for movement activities and entertainment for older UK adults living in residential settings. With major NHS funding gaps in older adult care, integrated health tech solutions like the Tile Game will be vital for community settings and retirement villages. Core benefits of our device apply to falls prevention and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Hardware Integration:
Sensor-fitted LED floor tiles designed for dynamic physical interaction.
Bespoke Profiling:
Custom software application built for tailored goal setting and dynamic difficulty adjustment.
Clinical Collaboration:
Exercise games designed to be set, reviewed, and analyzed alongside health practitioners.
Entertainment for Adherance:
Colours, sounds and game rewards help to maintain motivation for movement activities.
Foster Independence:
A self-managed, social and low-tech entry device to support seniors' healthy ageing.
Systems Integration:
The device is aiming for full NHS integration in the long term.
How does the Tile Game operate?
1. Deploy: lay down the portable, sensor-fitted LED floor tiles and switch them on. 2. Set profile: with your health practitioner, set your custom goals via the Tile Game app and select your games. 3. Play: enjoy the activity, increase your movement confidence and monitor your improvements independently.
Our Project Stage:
We are currently securing funding to develop our protoype to TRL6 and seeking collaboration with UK Charitable Trust partners. For further information, please contact us!
